If you receive a GROUT PEN with a dry white tip, don't worry - this is normal, as all brand new GROUT PENS have a dry white tip until they are activated. To prime the tip, simply pump it rapidly (30+ times) on a scrap piece of paper to get the liquid flowing easily. When using the GROUT PEN, gently draw on the grout line without pushing the tip too hard, as this can damage the cotton tip.

The GROUT PEN color chart provides the most accurate representation of each color. If the color of the pen cap does not exactly match your desired shade, we recommend doing a small test area first. The GROUT PEN is available in both Narrow (5mm) and Wide (15mm) tip sizes, allowing you to cover thin and thick grout lines.

The GROUT PEN's colorant is strong enough for exterior patio tile grout, and it is non-toxic, water-based, and long-lasting, covering up to 150 feet of thin 2mm grout. If the tip becomes worn, damaged, or falls out, simply replace it, as the tips are designed to be removable.
