Zinsser's mold killing primer is a water-based fungicidal protective coating that can be used to paint over existing mold, mildew, moss, fungi, odor-causing bacteria, and any other fungal organisms. The primer contains an EPA-registered antimicrobial to prevent the growth of mold, mildew, and other fungal organisms on the paint film. It can be used indoors or out on a variety of surfaces, including under wall coverings, and also aids in covering residual microbiological and fungal stains.

The protective primer is specially formulated to paint over and kill existing mold, mildew, moss, fungi, and odor-causing bacteria on non-porous interior and exterior surfaces. It has a low odor, is water-based, and cleans up easily with soap and water. The primer can cover up to 160 square feet, dries to the touch in 30 minutes, and can be recoated within one hour, allowing for quick project completion.
